Journey 01
From Uncertainty to Clarity
The Situation
A participant in her late fifties had never properly read her EPF statement. She knew the account existed but the summary she received annually felt too technical to interpret on her own.
What She Did
She booked the Understanding Your Statements Session. The two-hour session used an annotated example to walk through what the key figures and dates on a typical statement represent.
The Outcome
She came away able to read her own statement independently and identified a specific section she needed to ask EPF about at her next appointment. She reported feeling considerably less anxious about the subject.
Journey 02
Years of Paperwork, Now Organised
The Situation
A couple in their early sixties had paperwork from two different employers, voluntary contributions, and a private pension scheme — spread across several folders, boxes, and email downloads with no consistent system.
What They Did
They attended the Document Sorting & Filing Workshop together. During the half-day session they built a joint filing structure using the templates provided, which they labelled and organised on-site.
The Outcome
They left with a functional personal filing system and a maintenance checklist. They have since used it to locate documents for two separate administrative appointments without difficulty.
Journey 03
Fully Prepared for EPF Meetings
The Situation
A gentleman approaching sixty-three wanted to understand the full picture of his retirement paperwork before meeting his pension administrator and EPF. He had not done this before and felt unprepared.
What He Did
He enrolled in the full Retirement Information & Organisation Programme. Over four sessions he built a personal binder, learned to read his statements, and prepared a clear list of questions for his upcoming appointments.
The Outcome
His EPF meeting was, in his words, the most useful he had ever had. He arrived with specific, well-framed questions and his paperwork in order. He used the follow-up support twice after the programme ended.
