How Nestwell Sessions Work
General Information Only
Every programme stays within the boundaries of general educational information. Participants are always encouraged to take personal questions to the appropriate official bodies.
Practical, Hands-On Format
Sessions are not lectures. Participants work with annotated example materials, build filing systems, and leave with something tangible — templates, checklists, or a binder depending on the programme.
Paced for the Participant
Small group sizes and a patient facilitation style mean sessions can be paused, revisited, or extended where needed. There is no pressure to keep up.
Programme 01
Understanding Your Statements Session
A calm, plain-language session that walks you through what typical retirement account statements and summaries generally contain and how to read the figures and dates on them. Purely educational, helping you feel confident about what you are looking at. Includes an annotated example sheet.
This session uses a carefully prepared annotated example statement — not your own documents — to explain what each section of a typical retirement account summary represents. The accompanying annotated sheet is yours to keep as a reference.
What the Session Covers
- How to read account balance figures and contribution totals
- What the key dates and reference numbers on statements generally mean
- Common sections found in EPF and related retirement summaries
- What to look for before attending an official appointment
How It Works
You book a session at our Bangsar Baru office at a time that suits you
The facilitator introduces the general structure of retirement statements using an annotated example
You follow along, ask questions, and note anything you wish to look up on your own statement later
You leave with the annotated example sheet as a reference guide

Programme 02
Document Sorting & Filing Workshop
A hands-on workshop for organising your own retirement paperwork into a clear, labelled personal system, so nothing goes missing and everything is easy to locate. Focuses solely on record-keeping and organisation. Includes filing templates and a personal checklist.
Many people approaching retirement discover that their paperwork has accumulated across several locations — some filed, some in envelopes, some still unread. This workshop addresses that directly by guiding you through building a logical, labelled system that you can maintain yourself.
What the Workshop Covers
- Categories of retirement-related documents and how to distinguish them
- Building a personal filing structure that suits your paperwork volume
- Labelling systems and folder conventions used in the provided templates
- Checklist for maintaining and updating records on a regular basis
Workshop Flow
Introduction to common document categories in Malaysian retirement administration
Hands-on organisation exercise using the provided filing templates
Labelling and structuring your personal system within the workshop
Review of your completed checklist and answer to any factual questions
Programme 03
Retirement Information & Organisation Programme
A multi-part programme blending general information about the stages of retirement with practical help organising your records and preparing clear questions for the appropriate offices. Includes a personal binder, checklists, and follow-up support for factual queries. Not personal financial advice.
This is Nestwell's most comprehensive offering. Spread across multiple sessions over several weeks, it builds both understanding and an organised personal records system in parallel — so that each piece of knowledge gained has a corresponding place in your filing structure.
Programme Scope
- General overview of retirement stages and typical administration milestones
- Statement reading sessions across multiple types of documents
- Full document organisation workshop with personal binder
- Guided preparation of questions for EPF and pension administrators

All materials and verbal explanations are checked for clarity. Jargon is either avoided or explicitly defined before use.
